How to Find Betting Markets and Understand Odds
Choosing the right market and understanding odds formats — these two skills are the foundation of a good betting experience.
When you log in to viptaka Bet, the sports lobby appears first. Use the left-side menu or the top category bar to select cricket, football, or any other sport. Next to each match, odds are shown in three boxes — home win, draw, and away win.
Odds are shown in three formats: Decimal (3.00), Fractional (2/1), and American (+200). Decimal format is the most common among players in Bangladesh. Decimal odds show the total return directly — stake multiplied by odds.
If you place a ৳500 bet on Team A to win:

On a ৳500 bet, if Team B wins you get back ৳900 (৳400 profit). American minus odds mean how much you need to stake to win 100.

Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on any odds adds the selection to the bet slip. From there you enter the stake and see the potential return.
Single Bet
Just one selection — a bet on one outcome in one match. Say in a cricket match Team A's odds are 1.45 and Team B's odds are 2.75. If you place ৳500 on Team B, and Team B wins, you get back ৳1,375 (৳875 profit); if Team A wins, you lose ৳500.
Multi Bet
Adding multiple selections to one bet slip creates an accumulator or multi bet. All odds are multiplied together, so the return increases — but if even one selection loses, you lose the entire bet.

How a Betting Exchange Works
In a betting exchange you can take two positions — BACK and LAY. Say you BACK Team A with ৳1,000 at decimal odds of 2.00: if Team A wins you gain ৳1,000 (before commission); if they do not win you lose ৳1,000.
When you LAY, you act as the "bookmaker": against a ৳1,000 stake your liability is ৳1,000 × 1.00 = ৳1,000. If Team A does not win you receive ৳1,000 (before commission); if they win you pay ৳1,000.
How to View Open and Settled Bet History
After placing a bet, you can go to the "Bet History" or "My Bets" section on the dashboard at any time to see which bets are still running (open) and which have been settled.

The match is ongoing or has not started yet and the result has not come in — these appear in the open bets list.
Settled Bets
Once a match ends, the bet is settled — winnings are added to your balance, and the stake is deducted for losses.
Date Filter
Use the filter option to find bets from a specific date or time period.
History Export
You can also download your bet history to keep your own records.
